	Bracelet	Jackson Brothers	1882 1884	Sterling silver cuff bracelet. Oval shape, hinged at one side and the other has a small button which when pressed opens the bracelet. Front has small round projections on both sides. Scrolls and sprigs of leaves engraved. Raised scroll work is inlaid with rose gold. In the centre is an engraved branch with little leaves while larger leaves are inlaid and with rose gold and yellow gold. The back is plain but is engraved 'Presented to MISS S A SPEDDING - from the teachers of North School- OAMARU April 1884'. Three lots of hallmarks lion and t, the mark for Chester and a J.B.S. These marks indicate the piece is sterling silver, manufactured in Chester, England, in 1882.

The reverse has the inscription "FOR BRAVERY IN THE FIELD" in four lines, surrounded by a laurel wreath, surmounted by the Royal Cypher and Imperial Crown. The suspender is of an ornate scroll type. The ribbon is dark blue, with five equal centre stripes of white, red, white, red, and white. 21708 Private A.D. McBeath, N.Z.E.F. (1st Canterbury Regiment) impressed on the rim of the medal.

The reverse of the medal depicts St George on horseback trampling underfoot the eagle shield of the Central Powers, and a skull and cross-bones (the emblems of death). Above, the sun has risen in victory. The figure is mounted on horseback to symbolise man's mind controlling a force of greater strength than his own, and thus alludes to the scientific and mechanical developments and machines which helped to win the war. The ribbon consists of an orange watered centre, with thin stripes of white and black at each side, and borders of royal blue. Issued to -: 29670 Private W. Colling, N.Z.E.F.
	Indian Mutiny Medal		Circa 1858	The obverse depicts the diademed head of a young Queen Victoria with the legend VICTORIA REGINA. The reverse shows a helmeted Britannia holding a wreath in her right hand and a union shield on her left arm. She is standing in front of a lion. Above is the word INDIA, with the dates 1857-1858 below. The ribbon is white with two scarlet stripes, with each stripe of equal width. Engraved around the rim is "2292 SERG.T SAML. KING, 70TH REGT".

A - Silver-plated dish of keep 4 legs and decoration on edges. "BRITANNIA. PHILIP ASHBERRY AND SONS. SHEFFIELD 921 M" B - Silver-plated lid "TO J. H. MILLIGAN, AS A MARK OF APPRECIATION OF COMMERCIAL INTEGRITY. 1896." Ornate handle.

	Pacific Star Medal			This bronze six-pointed star has a circular centre with the GRI/VI monogram, surmounted by the Royal crown, and inscribed 'The Pacific Star' The centre of the ribbon is dark green (symbolising the jungle) with a central yellow stripe (symbolising the beaches). On the outer edges are wide stripes of red (representing the Army), with narrow stripes of dark blue and light blue (representing the Navy and Air Force) between the stripes of dark green and red. This medal was issued to J. Belcher.
