Five men with a car in front of the Patearoa Hotel. John Conaghan was the licensee of the hotel, owned by Mrs W Dagg, from June 1925 until it was destroyed by fire on May 7th 1927. The Patearoa Store is to the right of the hotel, and a small wooden church is further along the road.

Kurow Delargy's Hall interior. (Haka Bazaar?) Roman Catholic Church Bazaar, Kurow. For building fund. Held November 4,5 or 6th, 1897 Stall Holders: Miss Teenie Simpson, Mrs Wise, Mrs T. A. Munro. Hall was part of the Kurow Hotel group, along with livery stables at the rear, providing a venue for dances, as this was forbidden by law, within the Hotel, just next door.

The hotel was destroyed by fire 6 October 1908. The railway station and goods shed to the right of the hotel. St. Alban's vicarage and church, built 1893, in the background at left.

She married Edgar Sibbald Guthrie on 1 July, 1933 at Knox Church, Dunedin. Flora Elinor Jardine was born 25 June, 1905; died 12 December, 1978. (She married Henry Edward Jamieson of Tokarahi, and later farmed near Palmerston.)
