Archdeacon J D Russell. Installed at St Luke's in 1911. Appointed Archdeacon of Oamaru in 1916, becoming Archdeacon of North Otago in 1928. Held this position until 1944, when he became Archdeacon Emeritus.

St Patrick's Basilica, Reed Street. The foundation stone was laid May 28 1893, and at the stage shown the building was opened November 18 1894. The portice and outer domes were added in 1903, the large dome and sanctuary in 1918. The architect was F. W. Petre. The convent at right was built 1900-1901.

Enfield Methodist Church (in township). Original church site was Wellington St, Enfield. Foundation stone laid by Mrs J Scott 12 June 1911. Used as Awamoa Sunday School after moving to Wansbeck Street Oamaru, next to the Junction Hotel. Permission granted in 1970 for building to be given to Weston Presbyterian Church for use as a church hall.
