Men, women and children, horses and carts, dogs, a traction engine and threshing mill in front of the Duntroon Hotel. B B Welsh, proprietor. Opened by Benjamin and Jessie Welsh (previously Grant, née Russell) in January 1881. James Pringle took possession of the business on about 14th September 1897, the licence was transferred into his name January 6 1898. The building is still standing [2024] at 3 Campbell Street, with an addition to the west side.
