Building of the Hall of Memories at Waitaki boys High School
|
Building of the Hall of Memories. View taken from the north-east corner of the hall. It shows the junior high school block of the time (probably a total of 6 classrooms) and the shell of the hall. The East wall is completed and the two rear turrets are completed - also the first window on the north side. There is a scaffolding along the northern side, at about what was to become window level (around 10 - 12'). In the foreground, left, two boys are playing in a fenced off area. A concrete mixer, saw horses and other materials are scattered in front of the scaffold. Waitaki Boys' High School album.
