Joined Colonial Medical service 1905. Gained Diploma of Tropical Medicine 1905. After 27 years service at various station on Gold Coast was appointed DMSS Sierra Leone, West Africa. OBE 1929. Retired 1933 with letter of appreciation from the Governor. Now residing in England
