This china tea set was a wedding gift to Mr and Mrs Malcolm in 1889 from Mr Mowatt of Mowatt and Anderson, Flour Millers, Harbour Street.
A - Tray with two attached handles with a border of pink and gold. B - Teapot lid with pink and gold border. Small steam hole. C - Teapot with pink and gold border. 4 holes go into the spout. D - Sugar bowl lid with pink and gold border. E - Sugar bowl lid with pink and gold border. Two crockery handles. F - Milk jug and handle with pink and gold border. Wide spout. G - Saucer with pink and gold border. H - Cup and handle with pink and gold border. I - Saucer with pink and gold border. J - Cup and handle with pink and gold border. K - Saucer with pink and gold border. L - Cup and handle with pink and gold border. M - Saucer with pink and gold border. N - Cup and handle with pink and gold border. |

Fork with bone handle. Four narrow prongs, the two middle ones being slightly longer than the outer ones. Stamped on the head is "DISCOVERY - 1901". This was Robert Falcon Scott's ship. Stamped on the back "RODGERS".
