Capt C B Morris of the Duntroon Rifles. He was a Chemist in Duntroon, then shifted to Oamaru. A son of Col Morris, he was born at sea on the S S Barham and came to Oamaru aged 10 years. He died in 1931.

Linda Jones was the grand daughter of George Jones and sister of Dorothy H Jones (artist). Elizabeth Coote born 1844 Cootehill County Cavan Ireland. Married Irvin Hurst in the 1860s in Onehunga, Auckland. Came to Oamaru in 1875. Died in 1909. (North Otago Early Settlers' Association, 1993)
