The designer's initials, E.CR.P., appear above the front paw. In her outstretched left hand Britannia holds an olive wreath above the rectangular tablet bearing the name Isabel Clark cast in raised letters. Below the name tablet, to the right of the lion, is an oak spray with acorns. Two dolphins swim around Britannia, symbolizing Britain's sea power, and at the bottom a second lion is tearing apart the German eagle. Around the picture the legend reads (in capitals) "She died for freedom and honour". The reverse is blank.

	Lloyd's Lifesaving Medal		1889	Large, heavy, bronze life-saving medal. Obverse has a raised image of two figures, a man hanging onto a top beam of a sinking ship and almost naked nymph like woman with a shawl. "LEUCOTHOE NAUFRAGO SUCCURRIT." "W.WYON. R: A: // 1839." Around the rim "DONALD McDONALD MATE OF THE "HENRY JAMES" 3 APRIL 1889. Reverse has a wreath of oak leaves and acorns around top is raised "PRESENTED BY LLOYD'S // OB // CIVES // SERVATOS." Captain Donald McDonald lived in a hut made partly of kerosene tins in Totara.
	Dux Medal	John Hislop	1880	A circular silver dux medal. One side has 'HISLOP' stamped on it. The edge has foliate engraved decoration. The other side has a plain edge with raised 'OAMARU HIGH SCHOOL 1880'. Engraved in the centre is 'AWARDED to John Wilding DUX'. This was found in the possession of Miss A Lewthwaite by her family. It belonged to Miss Wilding a school teacher in Oamaru. This was presented to her brother, who later migrated to South Africa.
