On 7 March 1903 at Hampden, Mary Nichol saved Julia GRIFFIN from drowning, but two others were drowned in a boating accident. Reference photo only, no high resolution image.
Mrs Nichol never spoke about the incident and kept the certificate in her wardrobe.
