Scissors	Textilia	Circa 1960	Scissors given to workers of the first day of working for Alliance Textiles in 1960. The scissors are especially designed for textiles work. There is only one loop which forms part of one of the blades.

Marked DOULTON BURSLEM, England WATTLE. Rd No 188386. Below this is P H & Co. Stamped into the underside DOULTON BURSLEM ENGLAND. Part of a dinner set brought out from Cornwall with Mary Jane (Gribben) and John Uriah Tonkin in 1874.

Lace Sample Book	Allan, Janet Tait (b.1872, d.1937)	1895	Book of lace samples. Cover is a picture of red bricks with vines climbing up, a window in the middle showing a young woman reading a letter. 7 green bricks around the window are raised. Pages are pink (although some yellowing) and sewn together. On the inside cover is written in pencil "Jessie T Chalmers, Roseneath, Weston, Oct 9th 1895"

Tea Set		1889	This china tea set was a wedding gift to Mr and Mrs Malcolm in 1889 from Mr Mowatt of Mowatt and Anderson, Flour Millers, Harbour Street. A - Tray with two attached handles with a border of pink and gold. B - Teapot lid with pink and gold border. Small steam hole. C - Teapot with pink and gold border. 4 holes go into the spout. D - Sugar bowl lid with pink and gold border. E - Sugar bowl lid with pink and gold border. Two crockery handles. F - Milk jug and handle with pink and gold border. Wide spout. G - Saucer with pink and gold border. H - Cup and handle with pink and gold border. I - Saucer with pink and gold border. J - Cup and handle with pink and gold border. K - Saucer with pink and gold border. L - Cup and handle with pink and gold border. M - Saucer with pink and gold border. N - Cup and handle with pink and gold border.
Fork	Joseph Rodgers & Sons	1901	Fork with bone handle. Four narrow prongs, the two middle ones being slightly longer than the outer ones. Stamped on the head is "DISCOVERY - 1901". This was Robert Falcon Scott's ship. Stamped on the back "RODGERS".
