Bridge Hotel, Kurow. J O'Neill, proprietor. "The Bridge Hotel as it was in the late 1800s. This hotel was in Station Street, and was burnt down in 1907 - 1908. The railway station was built 50 yards to the left. the horse on the right is the sire "Stanley". The Waitaki Hotel (built in 1940) replaces this building."
