This appears to be a footbridge at Blandswood, Peel Forest, Canterbury. For comparison: https://hocken.recollect.co.nz/nodes/view/19675 Another photo in the same album appears to have been taken in Peel Forest (https://collection.culturewaitaki.org.nz/objects/160650/cars-on-a-country-road), so this would be consistent with the photographer having been in the area.
