Description
Oil painting in abstract expressionist style. The work was exhibited as part of Mary Horn's show Divine Disclosure- Darkness to Light. In the catalogue for this exhibition there are Mary’s words regarding the work:
Any waiting needs endurance but to wait out the winter takes a lot of patience.
Don’t just endure the harshness, but become buried in the soil of regeneration. There is always warmth there and intense activity.
Allow the activity and the dark, become one with the humus - learn humility and maturity.
Become good soil -
burst forth from the long and active winter
burst forth with the ‘Word’ spoken from all eternity
