Description
A rectangular wooden plaque painted white with black lettering. Associated with the memorial oaks scheme commemorating local soldiers who died during World War One.
The Memorial Oaks Committee put wooden crosses up before the concrete ones were chosen as more robust.

[Private William Shadwell? Service number WW1 22373 Born at Georgetown 12 October 1893, killed in action at Havrincourt, France 1 September 1918. Son of Jane and Edward Shadwell of Georgetown.
