Description
"Old blacksmith shop [at left] and small printing shop", Hampden, c. 1970s. The Hampden smithy was built for John Douglass about 1874. The building was demolished on 24 April, 1974.

I worked in the Blacksmith shop in my school holidays in the mid1950s for Tony Weirs a Dutch man whom took over the old disused Smithy in the 1950s.
