Description
E Glass and Sons, decorators at 23-25 Tees Street. Back row (L to R): one of two Birmingham brothers, father Amos N Glass. Front row ( L to R): grandfather Ebenezer Glass, Samuel R Irwin, ?, Uncle George Brooker, Uncle Frank Glass, ?, William L J 'Bill' Burns. This photo could have been taken about 1908-1911 as a celebration of the 25th jubilee of the founding of the original firm, which can only be confirmed by first commercial recorded transaction in the National Bank of NZ, Oamaru dated 1886.
