Public comments
(1822-1907) born Westminster, St Clement Danes, London, England. She married George Jones Senior on 1 April 1839, and voyaged with her bootmaker husband to New Zealand on the 'Arab' in 1841. She and her husband moved from Petone to Hobart, Melbourne, Geelong, Rockhampton, Christchurch, Timaru and finally retired to Oamaru. They had eight children, the eldest male being George Jones Junior, later Hon George Jones MLC, owner of the Oamaru Mail.
