This phot shows the steamer 'Tagus' built in 1899 for the Royal Mail Steam Packet Co. Ltd. Her name can be faintly read.In 1900 she was taken by the government to serves as a Boer War troop transport, her assigned number was 101. Hence this photo was taken in 1900. Best wishes, rev.
