Description
Tees Street view facing north. From right: Tees Street Hall (occupied by the Plymouth Brethren), built c. 1876; Ayrshire Boarding House, built in 1872. Next is the two storey Coffee Palace and Private Hotel. The Royal Hotel is the next two storey building further along. (Royal Hotel, later the Royal flats, was demolished in October 1976. See article in The Oamaru Mail, 9 October 1976, pg 1.)
