The Waitaki County Council Chambers building at 100 Thames Street. Opened in March 1882, designed by architect James Johnston. Used by Waitaki Girls' High School as premises from 1887 to 1904. Advertisements on fence for Moate & Co. Nelson Teas. New Zealand Shipping Co. Paparoa New Zealand to London. J H Milligan & Co. Outfitter. Polytechnic sale.
