Athenaeum, c. 1890's. Built in 1882. Later Public Library, North Otago Museum.
Architects: Forrester and Lemon. At right first Oamaru Courthouse (1863), later North Otago Pioneer Gallery. Three men with horse and cart. Photo taken prior to telegraph lines on Thames street, erected late 1890's.
