First motor bus to Omarama from Kurow, owned by Mr T A Munro, driven by Mr Arthur Munro. Barclay's Store (originally built 1891 for storekeeper Edward Thiele) now Waitaki Supply Store (closed 2000). Photo dates from 1915. Motor Bus 1914 Buick ? Caption on front "Waitaki County ? Councillors on tour through the County 1934"
