Description
Photograph of Oamaru stone being loaded at One Tree Farm, Totara, some time between 1885 and 1905. Mr Ben perry of the Empire Hotel owned the farm, but a company, to which he belonged, owned the stone, [according to] Mrs T Perry". The Oamaru Mail: "Tracing North Otago's heritage" (undated).
