Description
Original wooden Northern Hotel corner Tyne and Wansbeck Streets. Andrew Baker, proprietor. Built in 1860. Demolished in 1880 and replaced by stone building. In doorway from left: Lewis Morton and Arthur Toms. Horse and cart. Signs on Wansbeck Street shops, Labour Mart [?], Livery and Bait Stables, Photographer.
